• • Depending on how you are arriving & staying, you may find it cheaper to:
  • Compare prices, and layovers before deciding airports.

• • Check flights to Charlotte Douglas International airport and rent a car. CLT is 1.5 hours from Asheville.

  • Asheville Regional Airport www.flyavl.com only has a few direct flights to anything. AVL regional is 15 miles from the Asheville Hostel. There is a bus from airport only during work hours, Saturday, and not at all on sunday.

• Local Asheville Bus www.ashevilletransit.com 

• • There is only one bus line to the Asheville regional airport which is 15 miles from downtown.
  • $1 or $2. fare
  • Bus only runs during "work hours" .( 6 AM to 6 PM more or less)
  • The bus does not run on Sundays!
